Supporting Athletes with Intellectual Disabilities

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc., an office equipment sales company in the U.S., provides donations and volunteers for Special Olympics Connecticut, a non-profit organization that holds competitions and sports training programs for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Supporting Participation in Multi Disabled World Bowls Championship

In 2007, Bizclub, a social club formed by employees of Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd., an office equipment sales company in the UK, held various charity events to raise money to cover the travel expenses for Lea Davis to go to Sydney, Australia to take part in the Multi Disabled World Bowls Championship. In addition to the contributions raised by Bizclub through charity events, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) provided donations.

Summer Kids Golf

Konica Minolta is a special sponsor of the Summer Kids Days golf workshops run by the Ladies Professional Golfers Association of Japan. These events are held across the country with the goal of giving elementary and junior high school students easy access to the experience of playing golf.

Holding Running Classes

The Konica Minolta Track and Field Club has made a mark in many long-distance relay road races and medium-to-long distance races. It holds running classes, which are available to the public, at the club's training base in Tokyo and other venues across Japan. Each class has 100 to 150 participants, varying from elementary school students to adults. They receive coaching from the club's members on everything from basic stretching to their running form.


China

Supporting Special Olympics Held in Shanghai

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (China) Co., Ltd., an office equipment sales company, donated laser printers to the Media Center that supported the press from around the world at the Special Olympics held in Shanghai, and provided technical support free of charge. Besides this, the company offered various assistance including lending MFPs to the local governments that participated in the management of the event, also free of charge.
